BUZZARDS BAR AND GRILL WAS FOUNDED IN 1997 BY JUDIE AND DENNY JONES
La Fonda del Mar Bed and Breakfast and Buzzards Bar and Grill. Former Chef and Southern California restaurant owners Denny & Judie Jones built and have operated "Buzzards" since 1997. Their beautiful piece of Sea of Cortez paradise is tucked away in a lush palm garden, next to a secluded East Cape beach, just 15 minutes from down town San Jose del Cabo, BCS Mexico. Follow the Puerto los Cabos signs across from the fire station to El Encanto and La Laguna. The new bridge is not open yet, the road fools you and goes inland through the desert a few miles, then turns back one mile to the Sea Of Cortez.
You will be greeted with welcome smiles, great food and drinks and friendly "almost" English service. Most of the staff has been with us for years and have become like family.
For many years this has been the last stop up the East Cape for the folks headed out to surf. It has been a great gathering place for the folks in surrounding communities to eat, drink, and enjoy one another's company and share stories of their travels. It also has a charming romantic atmosphere for couples to dine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets, walks on the beach, whale watching, a candle lit dinner with drinks under a palapa roof with a Baja beach sand floor.
It is an all natural setting, solar powered, off the grid, environmentally friendly...just far enough from San Jose del Cabo to enjoy the tranquility, but easy access only minutes away.
